Tom Lawlor > Bobby Heenan
UFC fighter and future Light Heavyweight Championship contender “Filthy” Tom Lawlor did in one night what it took Bobby “The Brain” Heenan an entire career to accomplish – manage a champion!
The 185-pound Rhode Island native accompanied Kyle O’Reilly and Bobby Fish to the ring for their show-stealing performance against the Young Bucks at Ring of Honor vs. New Japan Pro Wrestling “War of the Worlds” this weekend. Kyle and Bobby – or: reDRagon – won the match and the ROH World Tag Team Championships in the process.
If we’re made to believe that wins and losses in wrestling matter – that championships and accolades matter – than Tom Lawlor is a better manager than Bobby Heenan ever was. Right!?
Regardless, who’s excited for that Tom Lawlor vs. Jon Jones UFC Heavyweight Championship fight? #KevinKelly
