#6 – The TV Title Picture
The Ring of Honor television championship has a really interesting picture of competitors right now. You have the former champion, Matt Taven. He used to be managed by a guy called Truth Martini – you may have heard of him. Together they made Taven the longest reigning TV champ in company history. Earlier this year Taven lost the title to Tommaso Ciampa, who has since feuded with and dropped the belt to Jay Lethal.
After losing the title, Taven went straight. He dropped the House of Truth – who took on Lethal as a client – and attempted to do the "right thing" week after week. Taven has never been better. So now we're looking at Taven vs. Lethal vs. Ciampa and… because I'm a few weeks behind, I don't understand why, but they threw in Silas Young to make it a 4-way match. It should be a very solid contest. The story-telling between Taven and Lethal has been some of Ring of Honor's best.
