Daniel Bryan vs Triple H – One Step Down
I don’t care how you spin it, Daniel Bryan not being in the main event of WrestleMania 30 is bad for business. But it’s appearing less and less likely he’ll get that opportunity.
IF that is true, and I’m still holding an ounce of hope they’ll decide to make it happen, Vince and Hunter have plans to (try and) make it right.
I wouldn’t be surprised if they pull a Cena/Rock situation and announce Bryan as the headliner for WrestleMania 31 one year in advance. That’s too risky though, in my opinion. Who knows how the WWE Universe will feel 365 days later. Hell, some people feel they’ve already drug this out too long.
The worst-case scenario, aside from it never happening at all (zero chance of that), is that they try and make this whole thing culminate at Mania-lite this summer. What an ultimate slap in the face that would be — to us, to Bryan, to anyone involved.
Daniel Bryan MUST have his moment at WrestleMania. I’m afraid next year will be too late, so do the math Vince. It still only leaves one.
