The Shield vs. The Wyatt Family
Killam says: What “should” AND “will” happen is whatever WWE darn well decides will happen for this match. They have done such a wonderful job progressing this mashed-together feud over the last few weeks. You can tell the Shield is on the way out, because somebody realized the potential in this program, and wanted to pull the trigger before the window closed forever. The two biggest factions of the last few years, clashing for no reason but total fan service, and it’s awesome. The stare-downs between both teams have been some of the only content worth watching on Raw and Smackdown the past few weeks. In an ideal world, all three members of the Shield and Bray Wyatt would come out of Sunday’s PPV looking strong. If at least one side prospers, I’ll be a happy camper. Roman Reigns is the one guy that has to come off looking spectacular. He’s the focus heading into WrestleMania. He’s the future. Bray and Ambrose also represent a big part of that, but right now all eyes are, and should be on Roman Reigns. And honestly, I trust WWE and whoever is booking this program to do right by them.
Isenberg says: This is going to be such a fun match. The Wyatt Family is going to win this match, thanks to Dean Ambrose messing up a spot and Roman Reigns getting in his face. The split is inevitable. I have enjoyed every step of this feud heading into tonight’s big event and really think that WWE knows that this feud is worth money. They could not hold it off until WrestleMania because Reigns and Wyatt have a higher profile match in their future. I want to see this as an all out brawl. There should not be traditional tags made, rather more of a tornado tag match type format. Either way, there will be no winners and losers. (except for Rowan, who is the weakest BY FAR over everyone else.)
