Title This Impact Wrestling Reaction January 9th, 2014

impact wrestling reaction– I felt that there were two really important pieces that came out of Impact. The first was the continuation of Bully Ray vs. Ken Anderson. Anderson goes into a chapel where a casket is opened. Ray is sitting in the back and they exchange some heated words. Ray tells Anderson to look in the casket. He grabs what is in the casket and turns around to see Ray gone. They are two baby blankets, foreshadowing his children's fate with Ray. This was pretty dark and disturbing. I do find it surprising that Anderson would agree to an angle like this with his newborn children, but anything for the company I guess. Does this get too personal for you?  For me, it was edgy and interesting television. It did not take my eyes off of it for a second, but the line was very close to being crossed. Magnus defeated AJ Styles in a TNA World Heavyweight Championship Match.

This is complicated to break down. Here is the quick rundown of who was involved: Bad Influence, Zema Ion, BroMans, Sting and Bobby Roode. Everyone played a role in the match and got involved physically. What a cluster… mess of a situation this turned out to be. If you really wanted to make "your" champion look best, limit the amount of distractions from the outside. Dixie is gathering a group together and one could call it a stable that will be run by her. Oh boy, yeah I do not want to see how ridiculous this gets. A new NWO? I am obviously joking. Anyways, Magnus wins and gets the final help from Bobby Roode. Next up, Gunner or James Storm. Who will win next week and face Magnus? It wouldn't make much sense to give the briefcase to Storm. Gunner needs it because he is young and not established yet. Two young guys fighting for the title will give the veterans something else to do. TNA should look to the future.
