The Main Event
Turning Point may focus more on Aces and Eights, but make no mistake that Jeff Hardy and Austin Aries will steal the show. For the past two months, I feel like they have moved away from making this the number one story for absolutely no reason. Aries is still the best in the company, while Hardy is the most popular. Thankfully, they were able to end Impact on a high note. Aries is still carrying around the old championship title, while Hardy has his custom belt. Aries is just so good at making you believe every word he says. He has never sounded forced, scripted, or shoved down your throat. I loved how both men started brawling when they saw one another, and I do feel that Hardy will hold onto the title. Now, when looking at the end of Impact, I really enjoyed the ladder being used as a weapon, as well as telling the story. This is Jeff Hardy's baby, his specialty match. Having Aries get the better of him may seem predictable, but logical. I cannot wait to see what these two men can accomplish with a ladder involved, and do think that it will be the conclusion of one of the more entertaining feuds that somehow isn't being recognized as one.
