Aces & Eights – One Step Down
It’s something TNA has been doing right, until this past Thursday. Everything about it was forced and fake. Plus, I can’t say that I’m looking forwad to Austin Aries vs any mystery member of the group.
Aries’ acting was bad. Hogan’s acting was horrible. Did I actually hear Hogan say tell Aries to “keep him alive until the end of the night”?
Being able to make fans suspend their disbelief is hard enough without trying attempting angles like that. It was bad in concept and bad in delivery.
I’m hoping TNA takes tonight as an opportunity to make some sort of forward progress with this story. Reveal at least someone of relevance and then go from there.
I’ve enjoyed it, but it needs a development. We don’t have to find out who the leader is, but give us some of the supporting members. Give us the Hall or Nash of the group. Oh, and make sure they are someone able to talk, well.
