— Lastly, as a symbol of my happiness due to the return of fantasy football, I wanted to put over my top five "WWE Sleepers" and "WWE Busts". These lists will include up-and-coming stars that haven't made it to Cena/Punk/Orton/etc. level yet. The "Sleepers" are the group I feel have the best shot at making it there, sooner rather than later. The "Busts" are the ones I feel will regress in approximately the same timeframe.
Disclaimer: The following are meant to be fun lists and not to be taken "too" serious, although they are accurate representations of how I feel about the stars included. Therefore, debate as you will…
WWE Sleepers
#5. David Otunga – he still can't wrestle, but he's found a way to be entertaining. That's more important.
#4. Jack Swagger – would have been let go a long time ago if WWE didn't have complete faith in him. He'll get his soon.
#3. Heath Slater – if he stays out of trouble, he'll be a solid mid-carder that's more than just comedic relief and job opportunities.
#2. Tyson Kidd – this is a true sleeper for me because I think it's more what I "want" than what I think will actually happen. I hope not though. Kidd has a ton of talent and potential; he just needs the support of one man now.
#1. Alberto Del Rio – I know he's in the main event picture already, but he's still a good example of a sleeper. I don't think anyone expects him to go further than where he's made it or where he is now, and that's lower than what WWE originally wanted for him. I think he has a bounce-back year and it begins with a WHC win over Sheamus at NOC.
WWE Busts
#5. Ryback – I'm putting him fifth because I seriously hope he's not a bust, but I fear WWE's handling of a gimmick like this. They are reportedly worried about screwing it up, and that makes me think they will now overthink it. And ultimately screw it up.
#4. Jinder Mahal – he might be considered one already, but I think he's "future endeavored" soon enough.
#3. Dean Ambrose – only to piss off Justin LaBar.
#2. Antonio Cesaro – certainly not with this gimmick, or Aksana. Maybe not ever.
#1. Zack Ryder – Raw suggested they might do "something" with Ryder again. It won't last long.
