Wrestlezone’s Top 10: Pro Wrestling Stables
Number 5: The Ministry of Darkness: The Undertaker, Paul Bearer, Mideon, the Acolytes, Viscera, The Brood
When The Undertaker turned heel in the late 1990’s, it was really unexpected. He was known as a work horse, someone who could compete with the best heels and have his character cheered without saying a word. The Ministry of Darkness took the WWE by storm, with its creativity and intelligence. It may have been a few years ahead of its time, but they were able to be extremely controversial at a time where anything goes. They pushed the limits, especially when trying to sacrifice other wrestlers on a large cross. The abduction of Stephanie McMahon paved the way for her, Vince, Shane, and Stone Cold to reach another plateau. They were scary, dominant, and featured more than winning championships. They were men who wanted to puish the envelope as far as humanly possible. They succeeded.
