Wrestlezone’s Top 10: Pro Wrestling Stables
Number 8: NWO Wolfpack: Kevin Nash, Randy Savage, Konnan, Lex Luger, Sting, Curt Hennig, Rick Rude, Miss Elizabeth
It was the birth child of the hottest storyline in professional wrestling. When the original NWO became too big, they had to split it up. During the Summer months in 1998, there was no bigger or more popular stable than the Wolfpack. With their rap song blasting throughout arenas and there slang terms, they felt like what everyone wanted to be in. This was a group of faces that needed one more established face, and that is when Sting arrived. WCW needed a change, and this change helped them stay at the top of their game. In this stable, Kevin Nash handed Goldberg his first loss, even though Scott Hall tazered him. Starrcade was hyped as bigger than WrestleMania. After this, the 2 NWO’s merged, and that was basically the end of the Wolfpack. They were so popular that the end game had to be them losing steam and falling off.
