-Brooke Hogan introduces herself to some of the Knockouts and says there is a fatal four way match to determine the number 1 contender. Also, she says Velvet will be in a country music video, and we see Mickie James looking upset and dissatisfied.
In Ring Segment
Hulk Hogan comes out and talks about the 10 year TNA Anniversary. He says that the World Heavyweight Championship will be defended next week live. Bobby Roode comes out and yells at Hogan, saying he is always fighting. He goes on to complain, until Sting attacks Roode. He punches him down and continues to brawl until Roode retreats.
This was quick and effective to give them more exposure before their match on Sunday. Also, we will see them again at the end of the night, which makes us look forward more to it.
Miss Tessmacher def. Velvet Sky, Mickie James, and Tara
What I Liked:
Not a bad match between these four, all getting some good offense in throughout. Tara hit a nice side suplex onto Tessmacher to set up her finish. Sky hits a great DDT and Mickie flies to get herself back in the mix. Tessmacher picks up the victory, which was shocking to me. I did not think she would win this match, but I like that they are keeping some consistency in contenders.
What I Disliked:
There was not a great ending to it, as Tessmacher seemed to barely hit her finisher. I wanted more athleticism out of these Knockouts because they all can do more. They had time, had the chemistry from previous matches. They should have relied more on Tara vs. Mickie to further push the action.
