WrestleZone’s Top 10: 2012 Summer Feuds

Number 3: CM Punk vs. The Rock

SummerSlam should feature a match with The Rock. For the time being, Rock should go against someone like Punk, a guy who has done so much as champion. The Rock took Punk's spotlight at WrestleMania, and that should be plenty enough of fuel in the fire to ignite this feud. Punk would do such a great job ripping apart The Rock in a completely different way than Cena did on the microphone. You do not necessarily need a heel to face The Rock. Face/Face can work because the fans of Punk are not the same as the fans of Rock. The action in the ring would be solid, with a great pace and chemistry given their very different styles. This would open a gate for Rock to win the WWE Championship back later on and would really help Punk remain at the top if he does not have the gold around his waist for 2012.

Currently, Josh Isenberg works for Major League Baseball in their Advanced Media Productions. He grew up in Pittsburgh and went to Point Park University, which is where Chair Shot Reality is filmed each week.
His life outside of his obsession with wrestling include being a savant for Seinfeld, NFL, NBA, MLB and many television shows. He also has an undying love for musicals, which includes many shows he was a part of in high school. Some of his favorite wrestling moments can be linked to such superstars as Edge, The Rock, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels and The Great Khali.
