Daniel Bryan – One Step Down
I'm not giving him a step down because of something he's said or done. It's really not his fault.
First, it's becoming clearer and clearer every week that live crowds aren't going to be like Miami. Not even close. Daniel Bryan is still getting over and the "Yes!" chants aren't going anywhere, but it's certainly not going to take off overnight.
I also think it's time for him to get away from AJ. It's becoming too much "acting" and although Bryan is doing a great job at his part, AJ is far from stellar. I'm not downing AJ either. Her role in the story is much harder to pull off, with all the crying and such. Bryan simply gets to play the "arrogant asshole" part and he's been doing that well for months now.
I don't "hate" the continued interaction between Daniel and AJ, but I'd rather him move on and focus only on Sheamus and regaining the World Heavyweight Championship. They have lacked chemistry this entire time.
There's not money in Daniel Bryan vs AJ. There should be plenty in Sheamus vs Bryan. It's time for WWE to give us a reason to pay for it.
