Number 4: WrestleMania V
A great roster of talent caused this night to be a wreck. Once again, Vince and company tried to get everyone on the show, which is why we received 14 matches. We really could have done without Bobby Heenan losing to the Red Rooster. Did anyone care about Hacksaw and Bad News Brown? Dino Bravo and Ronnie Garvin tore the house down, right? Trim the fat and focus on your stars, guys like Hogan, Savage, Rude, Warrior, Perfect, Demolition, Roberts, Andre, and DiBiase. The main event featured “The Mega Powers Exploding” with Hogan beating Macho Man in 17 minutes. The atmosphere was different, with Trump Plaza in Atlantic City holding the crowd of 18 thousand plus. We also got a Brooklin Brawler run in! What animosity we had April 2, 1989. What a crap shoot this was. 2.5 out of 10.
