John Cena def. Mark Henry:
What I Liked:
A great, yes I said great, match between Cena and Henry. For once, I appreciated how they booked both guys. Mark Henry, in my fears, could easily have been booked here to get squashed. We saw a more aggressive Henry with powerful offensive display. Cena did a great job selling all of the moves as well. Henry's clothesline looked to behead Cena. The pace of the match was quicker than I thought. I really enjoyed the end with Cena, but felt that The Rock's Rock Bottom was impressive. Henry got lifted high and then splat. He did not look weak by the loss and did not lose much steam, if he had any to begin with.
What I Disliked:
The Rock should have done something to Cena, right? Wrong. Even though we all want to see some sort of physical altercation, what is the point? The buys will be there no matter what they do in the next few weeks. There was not much I disliked her, did enough in both guys' development.
Grade: B+
The Miz comes out and compares himself to King Kong Bundy, stating both have had colossial fall offs from the previous WrestleMania. Miz talks about winning over Team Johnny and being in that team.
Sheamus def. The Miz:
What I Liked:
Sheamus and Miz are very similar in attacking styles. I felt that the usage of Sheamus here would have worked more effectively if Bryan came out or was even seen for a split second. Sheamus is great in the ring, you know what you are going to get. I am beginning to like this losing streak for The Miz. This shows me that they have something bigger set up for him, but are keeping it hush.
What I Disliked:
Not a good match, lacked sensibility and logic. Sheamus and Miz should work well together, but they did not tonight. There was not enough time and not enough moves to exectue for a good match. Neither were able to get momentum in the match and keep chemistry flowing, which is so essential in every match.
