Title This: Royal Rumble Reaction

Reaction:

What we got here was a thrown together Steel Cage match, just to try and differential it from the classic Triple Threat Match. Daniel Bryan and Big Show took the bulk of this match, as you could easily see Mark Henry did not need to be in this match. He is obviously injured and did not have much in the tank here. The cage was used effectively, as Show would continue to thrown Bryan into it. The match was way too short, especially since it opened the show. This should have been a showcase on the overcoming of Bryan on two giants, but was more of a watered down way to show his ability to escape from the odds. Poorly booked throughout, with a lack of excitement, creativity, and importance. I wonder why they even had this match on the card, and there was no mention or visual of AJ during the match? Wasn’t that the “BIG” angle that caused Big Show to question his retirement? Where is the logic here, because I cannot grasp this match, the reason it happened, and why they completely dropped the ball on making the match important. Not a great start to the night. I was not super excited for the match anyways, but expected a lot more from everyone. It was just a below average, forgotten cage match.
