Mark Madden: I have no idea who WILL win the Royal Rumble. I'd rather attempt to read the mind of a menopausal woman than try to guess what WWE creative will do next.
I think Chris Jericho SHOULD win the Royal Rumble. Say Jericho is the last man in, then wins without touching anyone – the last two men besides Jericho eliminate each other just as he enters the ring. It would continue Jericho's theme of success through non-participation, and lead right to his "best in the world" feud with CM Punk via a WrestleMania title match. (That Rumble finish has been mooted several times in the past, it should be noted, but scrapped because of the feeling it devalues the win.)
Kevin Kelly: I think Jericho wins to advance him to take the title in the Elimination Chamber and get CM Punk at WrestleMania. It's the most commonly considered scenario which is why it may not happen, but it makes the most sense. There isn't anyone else I see winning or more deserving at this point. Jericho is a top guy and the cupboard is relatively bare.
Do they dare think about having a returning Undertaker win the Royal Rumble? Randy Orton could also win and benefit from being thrust back into the spotlight immediately but his health is up in the air. Unless he's a guarantee for 'Mania, you can't have Orton back in the mix for the Rumble.
Billy Gunn: There's a lot of different ways the Rumble can go this year. My pick, being that he is my favorite up there right now, would have to be Dolph Ziggler because there's a bunch of ways they could go with him. It would be nice, refreshing – even though we're going to see him earlier in the night. It's going to be a phenomenal match, like they all have been, between him and Punk. A lot of people compare Dolph to me, which is great, because I think he's very good. There's all kinds of ways they can go this year, but my personal pick is Dolph Ziggler.
Billy Gunn will be hosting a Royal Rumble after-party in St. Louis with Sean "X-Pac" Waltman at the Tigin Irish Pub, starting a 11pm. For more information on the after-party and to purchase tickets, visit MyWrestlingParty.com!
I'd like to personally extend my thanks to Billy Gunn, as well as Kevin Kelly and Mark Madden for their participation in this feature, and for all the work they do on Wrestlezone. Obviously Chris Jericho stands out from the pack to win this Sunday's Royal Rumble, with Sheamus, Randy Orton, and Dolph Ziggler (and CM Punk…) all getting a mention. But this is Rumble season, which means we are just hours away from being on the Road to WrestleMania! And that means, more than anything, we are gearing up for some of the best, most unpredictable sports entertainment that WWE can offer! Chris Jericho may be Wrestlezone's (and our fans') pick to win, but as they've shown in the past: ANYTHING can happen.
