Number 1: Wade Barrett

The "It" factor. He has it. Whether you like it or not, this is the guy that will be bigger and better than Sheamus of 2010. Wade Barrett is loved backstage by everybody, and it shows. His feud with Randy Orton only solidified his future, and he will be a multiple time world champion in 2012. Expect Wade to stay at the top for the entire year. His powerful in ring tactics, his underrated athleticism, and his intelligence are the three reasons why he will succeed. They need to build up the future, and 2012 will showcase Barrett, Rhodes, and Ziggler. I expect this to be a lock for World Champion along with Ziggler, and Wade's days are looking bright. Will he be marketable? I think he could, and he has the opportunity to move to Raw and really shine. If he is on Smackdown, he will be champion for a longer time. Either way, either show, Barrett will become World Champion and place his footsteps on the main event path all year long. Buckle up, the winds of change are right around the corner.
