Title This: Impact Wrestling Reaction 12-1-2011

Austin Aries comes out and brags about how he has beaten everyone. He talks about his greatness, and how there is not much more he needs to prove to himself. Kid Kash comes out to confront Aries. He talks about how he held the title long before Aries got there. Kash and Aries shake hands for a future match, and Kash cheap shots him. This was not terrible, but I feel other's are well deserving of ths feud with Aries. Kash is okay in my book, but lacks creativity. He is a veteran trying to revive something that was never there, and that is his importance and relevance.

Gunner is seen looking for Garrett in a gym, attacks a random guy, and the search continues.

Jeff Jarrett is backstage, as Sting tells him not to get involved in the main event tonight, or there will be consequences. Jarrett says it might be worth it.

Street Fight: ODB vs. Mickie James

What I Liked:

I enjoyed how it was not a typical Knockout match. There was enough time to build the story in the ring, as well as to see some aggression and action. They use a trash can, go outside the ring, and show some brawling that you would only normally see from a men's match.

What I Disliked:

Where does this go from here? Is there a long story that starts? Probably not. There was no mention of another competitor, another challenger or feud established for James. Continue the growth and importance of writing not just week to week, but to write for a bigger picture. It makes your story more compelling.

James Storm is joined from his home, and talks about not yet cleared to wrestle. Kurt Angle walks out and wants to talk to Storm. Storm says Angle will feel how he feels when he comes back. Angle says he wants Storm to come next week and shake hands for a match at Final Resolution. Storm says it won't be "wrestling."

They do a good job at keeping Storm in the spotlight, focusing on his injury, but also focusing on his return at the same time. They continue to put stock into Storm in one way or another, even though he lost the title so quickly. Give him and Angle time to work together, prolong the match, and try to milk as much hatred as you can. Angle is too good to be thrown into a month feud.
