The Rock and John Cena vs Awesome Truth
You might as well leave Miz and Truth off the marquee for this match. They haven't been the priority all along and won't be this Sunday. The Rock/John Cena dynamic is the only thing Vince McMahon cares about right now.
Will John Cena turn heel? I highly doubt it. Wrestling fans – myself included – have worked themselves into a frenzy with the possibility, but the reality is probably the same as it's always been. WWE, for whatever reason, does not want to pull that trigger.
If you take a potential Cena turn out of the equation, what are you left with at Survivor Series? Not a whole lot, to be honest. Rock and Cena win the match and then one probably gets over on the other in some way to end the show. Rock has gotten just about every upperhand possible thus far, so I wouldn't be surprised if Cena leaves the Rock laying this Sunday. It doesn't have to mean he's turning heel. It would simply deliver a message that they're relationship is back to normal once the match is over.
I am begging for some spectacular finish to Survivor Series that shocks the world to its very core. That is probably just wishful thinking on my part. In this particular case, I am happy to settle for the return match of one of the greatest entertainers of all time.
