Mt. Killamanjaro: 5 Reasons to Stop Complaining About TNA

POINT 3: TNA knows how to book more than one feud at a time…

I've always had a really disturbing thought in regards to WWE creative: if the main event angles are normally put together and polished exclusively by the "inner circle" (Vince, Stephanie, Triple H, etc.), what the hell is the rest of WWE Creative doing? Every month we have a new PPV that has one or two feuds, usually over the WWE and World titles, and the rest are just random title matches because Person A wants to kick Person B's ass… It's boring, lazy booking, and too repetitive for me to still be entertained by after all these years of the same cookie-cutter product.

While TNA doesn't have it down to a science, they do know how to put on more than a single feud at a time. Going back to Turning Point again, not only did you have an excellent program in your World Heavyweight champion Bobby Roode, they have a great rivalry brewing between Hardy and JJ. Matt Morgan and Crimson is simple, but a lot of the best rivalries are. I'm not fond of the Immortal angle, but at least it's another feud present on the card. Robbie E and Eric Young's match had a lot of build up, even bringing in another Jersey Shore member to build some hype.

It's funny to me that the USA network's motto is "character's welcome", when most of the time I see TNA developing way more unique characters and storylines than the WWE. At least on Impact you can look at a guy and know he's different than wrestler X, J, and Q. I have almost no interest in over 3/4 of the WWE roster because they're all booked and scripted exactly the same…

Flip-side: TNA has a lot of angles going at once, but that can often get convoluted and take away from the over-all entertainment of the product. Sometimes, like in the case of Turning Point, more feuds doesn't necessarily mean a better show…
