The Rock comes out and talks about his busy schedule, but it does not matter now because FINALLY he has come back to Boston. Rock then goes on to talk about Cena, trending the term "Boots to Asses" and how popular and electrifying he really is. Continually, Rock says he is going to deliver an "Awesome Ass whoopin" but wants to do it tonight.
Awesome Truth comes out and bashes The Rock. They talk about how they are sick of being under the feet of Rock and Cena, and how they deserve the spotlight. The Rock will be left a bloody mess, and Survivor Series will never be forgotten.
Cena comes out. He and The Rock takes continuous jabs at one another, staring down Miz and Truth. They finally brawl, with The Rock hitting Truth with a Rock Bottom. As Cena goes for the AA, Rock grabs The Miz and hits a Rock Bottom on him. Rock doesn't look at Cena until he is on the ramp and taunts him as Raw goes off the air.
What I Liked:
The whole segment did what it needed to do, further the match and hype it as something more than just a tag team match. I also enjoyed Rock and Cena not looking at one another while standing next to each other. They both look like they genuinely hate one another. Miz and Truth held their own in the spotlight, continuing to prove why they are in this match. The tag match will be electrifying, but doesn't Cena HAVE to turn heel here?
What I Disliked:
I really feel that Miz and Truth should have ended the show on top, standing tall, and proving that Cena and Rock cannot team together. It will at least give us a thought that they could beat Rock and Cena. Other than that, I really enjoyed it.
Grade: A
