We see Daniel Bryan talking to AJ and Kaitlin about almost cashing in Money in the Bank a week ago on Mark Henry. Henry gets in Bryan’s face and says his guts will spill tonight when he beats him in the ring.
Ted DiBiase vs. Jinder Mahal
What I Liked:
Another week, another sighting of DiBiase. Once again, Ted gets a few minutes and keeps himself somewhat relevant.
What I Disliked:
Ted is not a guy who should be squashing people to get over. He is not the powerful guy, the monster, the beast. Ted should have consistent matches with time and build to get over. He needs to show he can go for 10 minutes at a time, not 2. What can we say about Mahal besides “future endeavored?” This guy had some build to him, vignettes, but came up short. I do not think there is any way to save him.
Mark Henry vs. Daniel Bryan
What I Liked:
Not a terrible match by any means, but I find it really hard to see Bryan excel when he faces a guy who is completely different in every way. He is always going to be viewed as an underdog due to his size, but Bryan can overcome that because of his submission skills and pure talent to out smart his opponent. Henry winning again is the right call, as he continues to get a head of steam into Survivor Series. I liked Big Show coming out and saving Bryan from getting his leg broken in the chair, reminiscent of what Henry did to Show at Money in the Bank. The match was not bad, with a few nice spots, and aggressive moves by Bryan.
What I Disliked:
Big Show not in a meaningful match. Why not have Henry and another heel tag against Show and Bryan? With no real feud, Bryan has no big plans, unless he cashes in at Survivor Series or possibly Money in the Bank. They have wasted too much time already with him, and he needs to be built up quick for anyone to buy his title reign. If not, he will be worse that Swagger or Del Rio.
