Title This: Impact Wrestling Reaction For 11/10

Impact WrestlingOpening Segment:

The new World Heavyweight Champion Bobby Roode comes out to discuss his actions last week. He said he is the new generation of selfishness, and he is happy he killed off Beer Money. He says Storm is drowning his sorrows somewhere. We see Storm in the back watching, and he fights off security to come out. Roode escapes, but Sting books the rematch for tonight.

What I Liked:

Roode immediately starting off the show was perfect. There is always a sense of selfishness for every heel, but I do buy into what Roode was saying. He is solid on the microphone and has the ability to really evolve as champion if he is given enough time.

What I Disliked:

Booking the rematch for later in the evening. It should be given enough of a build to really have a main event on a PPV. Injury or not, I feel like this would have happened, as Creative writers at TNA seem to be confused with who should and should not be pushed.

Crimson vs. Pope D'Angelo Dinero:

What I Liked:

Seeing Pope in the ring. This was a guy who was thrown in the spotlight over a year ago, and has completely fallen off, lost steam and momentum. I really like his in ring skills, and has a good presence outside the ropes as well. Crimson continues to get pushed, as he is a solid, powerful star on the rise. His fighting mentality is more of a brawler and "home run" hitter, but I feel like that works better for him. The sitdown powerbomb was a nice finish as well.

What I Disliked:

No really story being built here. No Matt Morgan, no Joe, but just a random match that featured a guy who desperately needs a good storyline to further his push. The match was short, no back and forth action, and completely lacked good booking.
