Vengeance was what I expected it would be and for the most part, I give it a solid rating. The wrestling was good, the storytelling was realistic, and it put certain things in place heading into next month's Survivor Series event. I understand that some fans don't enjoy using one pay per view to set up the next, but I think it's appropriate in some cases – "if" done the right way.
The screwy finishes were unnecessary, but I would accepted it in all of them..EXCEPT the "main" main event. Del Rio is the WWE Champion, but when you compare his recent push to Mark Henry's, it's not even close. One is the "right" way to do it and the other is Del Rio's. I defend WWE for protecting Cena 9 times out of 10, but he does more harm than good to just about everyone he works with these days.
If word is true, I'm a bit concerned for the Miz/Truth/Nash situation going forward. Nash can't handle the load of working a single's schedule full time. If Vince has changed his mind on a future faction with these three, I'm afraid that's what we're going to get with Kevin and I don't see any value in that. In my opinion, Nash only adds to WWE programming at this point in his career if he is working with someone or some group. I don't see any other legitimate option and hopefully, WWE will stop beating around the bush quickly (as in, tonight on Raw) and bring this whole "conspiracy" angle to a head. Everything has been leading us to that point and the time for clarity is now. If they prolong it any further or drop it altogether, it's going to end up being a major disappointment.
Unless you're big on returns (Kevin Nash returns, specifically), there's no real reason to order the replay of Vengeance. Watch Raw tonight and see how they decide to go forward the major storylines. That's the most important thing right now.
