Main Event Finish – The "Last Man Standing" stipulation allowed for outside interference and I get that, but after two faulty finishes in the tag team main event and the WH Championship match between Henry and Big Show, why couldn't they have allowed Del Rio the clean win? I would have been okay with a semi-clean with Ricardo Rodriguez interfering – had he been the only one. Protect Cena? I know you feel you must, so let Del Rio hit him 27 times with a chair and/or belt if that's what it takes, but let "him" be the one to beat Cena. The Miz/Truth attack could have happened post-match and accomplished the same thing.
Orton/Rhodes – I am not in agreement with the fans complaining about Orton going over in this match. Orton is still the main event guy; Rhodes is the mid-card guy. Orton just did two clean jobs to Mark Henry. He's already put over Rhodes in the past. He "needed" the win more, if you're going to say that about one or the other. However, as I wrote in my "What's Bothering Me" column yesterday, it's a lose/lose situation with these two at this point. Neither man can help the other right now if they are to remain at the same level they're already at. Meaning, if Rhodes is going to stay the Intercontinental Champion (and given his speech at the HIAC pay per view, I would think he is for a while), he shouldn't be working with Orton anymore. Orton has helped elevate Rhodes enough in this program – use someone else going forward.
As a quick side note: I noticed some WZ readers aimed fire at my recent "Randy Orton is one of the best today" statement. You are certainly entitled to your opinion and I am not one to say you're wrong…any other time you're not. In this case, you are. However, if you have legitimate reasons that I'm wrong (and the countless wrestlers who have publicly stated the same are as well), email me those at wzchriscash@yahoo.com. I will keep an open mind while reading each of them. I may also use them in a future column as well, so please think (and spell check) before sending.
