1.) The lack of ANY language being used in the Sin Cara identity crisis feud. We know why the original Sin Cara hasn't spoken, but Hunico (the wrestler that plays the black Sin Cara) has already proven that he speaks English in the ONE promo we've had so far between these two. How many weeks are they going to get involved in each other's matches, and point angrily at one another? Uncle Sam makes the finger point of doom work for him; masked wrestlers…not so much. There are so many ways they could make this feud more interesting. You want a comedy angle? Have Mistico (the blue one) kidnap Ricardo and make him interpret for an episode of Smackdown. Or bring in somebody like Armando…Alejandro…Eeesttraaaaaddaaaa to be his mouthpiece! It was reported MONTHS ago that he was being brought back into the company. What happened with him? At the very least, let Hunico cut all the promos as the heel, more than once a month.
Best case scenario, if you want to make this angle sell a dime, bring in Rey Mysterio! He can't wrestle, nor can he take a lot of bumps right now, but he's a Mexican icon that isn't doing ANYTHING at the moment. Bring him to Smackdown one week as Mistico's manager, and have Rey fight for honor, integrity, and all that other bullcrap that doesn't exist in the world of pro wrestling. Suddenly you've got a semi-interesting feud that is the gateway for a Sin Cara vs. Rey Mysterio match at WrestleMania. Just do something, or pull the plug already!
2.) Complainers. Fans that whine about Triple H getting "a push" when the WWE should be "focussing more on the youth movement". All I've heard since Kevin Nash made his return are complaints about how the veterans are taking up all the spotlight, and stealing away time from deserving mid-card talents that should be WWE Champions by now. While I'm not really a fan of Nash's work in the past decade, or any of his promos since returning to the WWE, how much time has he actually taken up? Three minutes at the end of a PPV? Four minutes for a promo on Raw? How much is John Cena or Triple H's 15 minute promo spot really taking away from the product, when 60-70 minutes of the show IS dedicated to rising talents like Dolph Ziggler, Christian, Jack Swagger, Air Boom, etc.
If you still live under the illusion that the youth movement is some far-off concept…wake up! The Miz had one of the most dominant WWE title reigns in years recently. Alberto del Rio is WWE Champion and has been a significant part of every major event so far in 2011. Kofi Kingston and Evan Bourne have been turned into a legit tag team and are currently holding the titles. Cody Rhodes is gold. Dolph Ziggler is a future star and has elevated Jack Swagger higher than most expected. Sure, the FOCUS of Raw is on Triple H and an impending power struggle. But that focus is telling a damn good story, and is only taking up a fraction of actual television time in comparison to the rest of the show.
The youth movement is in full force, being put over by the very talents people complain about. You can't build Triple H's over-night. You can't actually build Triple H's period… Sometimes I think the complainers will only be happy if Raw had a 25-year-old age limit, and if you stayed on top of the product for more than 3 months at a time you were unceremoniously fired on the spot. Triple H is still a god and a general in that ring and out of it. If you think he's taking up too much time, I'd like to point you towards another product filled with MUCH older men taking up MUCH more time…brother. With the WWE product as good as it has been this year, I guess complainers in general are what's bothering me…
