Reaction:
A very solid match between Ryder and McIntyre. I loved the pace of this match, more of a slug fest between the two, compared to a quick and effective match a few weeks ago. McIntyre, in my opinion, is so vastly misused in the company, as he shows signs of being a complete wrestler inside the ropes. Ryder continues to gain his popularity, and seems like he may be ready for a real feud in the near future on Smackdown or Raw. A good combination and mix of timing, execution, and build in the ring gave the fans a great match to end WWE Superstars. This segment gets an A-.
Overall:
We got our usual Brodus Clay squash, and a match that should have been much better than it was. Ezekiel Jackson and Tyson Kidd did not put on a good match at all. I feel like it was a mammoth vs. a cruiserweight, and they could not find the same page to be on. The tag team match highlighted an underrated Uso team who will not get a huge push if WWE decides to make tag teams who are singles stars. Lastly, the Ryder/McIntyre match was really good. With back and forth action, the chemistry in the ring, and the facial expressions from McIntyre, all of it worked and was effective in telling what was needed to be told. Overall, WWE Superstars gets a B-.
