Kelly Kelly vs. Natalya Review:
Kelly stretches Natalya with a submission hold off the ropes. She gets thrusted off the ropes, as Natalya and Kelly Kelly fight on the outside. Natalya kicks her in the stomach a few times, and follows up with yelling in her face. She pounds away at her neck, and applies a submission hold. Kelly Kelly fights out of it only to be thrown down again to the mat. Two count on Kelly Kelly, and Natalya tries a Sharpshooter, but is reversed and Kelly Kelly gets a three count.
Reaction:
The exact way that she has to win, because nobody will believe she can over power either of these divas. Kelly Kelly did not get much offense in this match, but she overcame the power, which could foreshadow her match with Phoenix. I do feel Kelly Kelly as champion has run its course, as she continues to be looked at like an underdog champion because of her lack of in ring ability. We shall see if her match with Beth will be better than Summerslam, because she did do well in Los Angeles. This segment gets a C.
In Ring Segment Review:
Christian whines and complains, and Sheamus says he is out of chances. Sheamus tells Christian to get out of the ring.
Wade Barrett vs. Sheamus Review:
Both men lock up and try to get the best of one another. Sheamus taunts Barrett, and he begins to pound away at Barrett with a forearm and running elbow. Barrett retreats and catches his breath. Sheamus gets a few kicks in, but Barrett reverses the offense with a body slam. He applies a head lock onto Sheamus and wears him down with submission holds. Barrett punches Sheamus to the outside, but Sheamus ties Barrett up in the ropes. Barrett counters and hits a big boot. Sheamus comes back with a scoop slam, and hits his patented forearms to the chest, followed by a running knee, and a flying shoulder block from the top rope. Christian comes out and takes down Sheamus. Both men double team Sheamus, until Sheamus fends them off, and hits a Celtic Cross on Wade. Christian retreats.
Reaction:
A solid match between these two talented heavyweights. I could watch these guys go all day, because they are so similar but have different powerful moves. Both men rarely miss a spot, and both feed off of their competitors’ energy and emotions. I would love to see this feud, but we get Christian and Sheamus. I feel that feud is just to keep each men relevant, as Henry has his time in the main event spotlight. I do not expect to see this feud go any longer than a month or two, as Sheamus needs someone that is similar to himself to feud with. This segment gets a B.
