The United States Championship match is up next.
Miz is out first and he’s insulting Newark, New Jersey. He quoted Conan O’Brien in saying that “all sewers lead to Newark.” When did Conan say this? Did The Miz just inadvertently turn Conan into a heel? Miz referenced the Ninja Turtles, which was cool. Them being here is actually the best part of the PPV.
Ok, they’re saying Kofi is from West Africa now. Do they purposefully just ignore previous storylines? Am I wrong in thinking that they used to make a big deal about Kofi being the first jamaiican wrestler in WWE?
I really like The Miz. I never thought I would say that.
I don’t want Kofi to win this match. I like him fine, but the US Title would serve The Miz or Jack Swagger a lot more.
Wow. I really thought Miz was going to win. Kofi hit the Trouble in Paradise on Swagger, and The Miz hit Kofi with whatever he calls his finishing move. Swagger saved Kofi from the pin though.
Ugh. Kofi won. It’s like WWE is trying to piss me off. Very good match though! Perhaps the best of the night.
