A good atmosphere in a different location and larger crowds. The amount of programming, predictability, and spoilers makes it harder to get the realistic MMA type atmosphere leading into a match, so its nice when they do television overseas. I think WWE should go back to doing what they did in the 90’s which is sprinkle in a Pay Per View in England every so often.
I got a lot of you who responded to the last column I wrote on Sheamus. Many of you agreed with me and I got some of you who felt I was being too harsh too quick. My response to those of you who felt I was being to quick to criticize is first….
Thanks for you reply but I can’t help but fire back with the fact he goes from nobody in the crowd caring he is beating up and retiring Jamie Noble to squashing someone they won’t even give a jobber name to. He beat “That Englishmen.”
Couldn’t we at least give him a Barry Horowitz type name?
The Kofi Kingston and Randy Orton feud has done more for me already than I expected. I am enjoying the process of adding the new dimension of Kingston. He still has been able to maintain the cool Bob Marley effect all while being dressed in street clothing and showing some violent aggression. This new dimension is necessary if they expect Kofi to be one of the top guys in the future so its good to see him holding his own.
I am not saying I enjoy the racial remarks or any racial remarks, I am say that the tension and actions between Orton and Kingston is/has been good. The remark about Kingston, MVP, and Mark Henry needing to go back to the hood just felt right. Got a good crowd reaction for pushing the line with a racial stereotypical comment. Kingston looking genuine and not backing down. Excited to see when Kofi and Orton get there one on one showdown sometime after Survivor Series.
We all love DX…but is it going to become mandatory for every guest GM to do the crotch chop and pose for a publicity picture with DX in the ring? Steelers was good cause it got good attention but I worry it may be a little too predictable.
Where does Kelly Kelly rank amongst all time Divas? I’m talking looks for those of you who may have first thought about wrestling ability.
While on the divas….how much money do you think it would take and make between Hugh and Vinnie Mac to have an all Divas playboy edition? Someone start a petition to send to Stamford.
