#5.) Beating The Miz for the United States Championship
When The Miz was Daniel Bryan’s mentor in the original version of NXT, he had mistreated Bryan severely. Bryan replaced The Miz in the SummerSlam 2010 main event to face The Nexus as he returned from being fired. Bryan would then feud with his mentor, The Miz for the United States Championship and on his first attempt Night Of Champions, he submitted him to become the United States Champion.
While their feud would only heat up many years later, it was Bryan’s first major milestone in the WWE. The following year, he would go on to capture the Money In The Bank briefcase and also become World Heavyweight Champion.
