WWE is good at pulling off the occasional twist that we don’t really see coming and Rollins joining team NXT would be one of them. While some may feel this angle is more to rebuild him as a babyface, a twist could be something that’s in the books for WWE. They could choose to go for the generic invasion after invasion, or they could add a whole new twist to it.
One thing is for sure – Rollins joining team NXT would come as a huge shock.
