#2.) AEW needs to handle “character-driven wrestlers” better
AEW has many good in-ring wrestlers, a lot of whom belong to the top 1% of pro wrestlers on the planet. However, wrestling is a lot more than just having an in-ring product. Sure, the core fanbase will always care about match quality, but if they want to expand their horizons, then they need to emphasize “character-driven” wrestlers such as MJF.
While MJF did win, he wasn’t given much of a spot and it was surprising that the man who had a ton of hype a couple of months ago didn’t even get on the ALL OUT card to actually wrestle. MJF is a special talent and AEW needs to ensure that they push character-driven wrestlers more than just fantastic in-ring workers.
