Shinsuke Nakamura has paired with RAW superstar Sami Zayn in a rivalry against RAW superstar The Miz. Again, it’s a case of The Wild Card rule that simply needs to find a way to conclude soon. Regardless, Nakamura won the Intercontinental title in an abrupt manner thanks to the announcement of a last-minute Kickoff show match at Extreme Rules 2019.
Hopefully, his run isn’t a repeat of his United States title run and in order to prevent that, he needs to be a regular, fighting champion. Unfortunately for The Miz, it probably isn’t his time right now. Given that Nakamura has this new-formed alliance with Sami Zayn, it seems as though he really needs the win.
