#1.) ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin goes off-script
One of the best parts of ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin is the sheer magnitude that his presence brings when he appears, even 16 years after his retirement. A long-time has passed but he still receives among the greatest reactions ever and his connection with the WWE Universe is unparallel.
He’s made it abundantly clear in the past that he detests scripted promos and it was evident that he was given a free rein to say what he wanted to say in his promo. He even asked about the airtime they had left and went on to tell a short story about Jerry Briscoe, which was interesting to see. Not that he has any consequences for going off script anyway, but WWE knows he simply won’t have it any other way.
