Chair shots to the head were extremely frequent in WWE in particular during the Attitude Era and the Ruthless Aggression Era, even carrying into a couple of years with the PG era. Fans often view these hardcore moments with a sense of nostalgia, not realizing that it’s something that’s better left as a thing of the past.
We can’t change history, but we can learn from it. While that may be entertaining to watch now, looking at wrestlers like Eddie Guerrero and Chris Benoit only make it seem bleak and make you realize why these risks were a thing of the past and should be kept that way.
