Kevin Owens recently turned babyface in the beginning of July and it represents a fresh start for him. Not only does it open up potential feuds, but it can be the start of a hot streak for Owens. Now, we know that Owens was technically Kofi Kingston’s first PPV opponent as WWE Champion and he fell short, but as a babyface, things could be very different.
It doesn’t have to a “friendly face” rivalry either and given their recent history, it can still be a grudge feud of sorts. Moreover, Owens is long overdue for another World Championship win, as it’s been over two years since he last held a World Championship. Owens is truly WWE Championship material.
