Randy Orton has accolades in WWE that very few superstars in all of wrestling history have. Having achieved everything there is to in the business, Orton has never been talked about in the “all-time great” conversations, but why? It mainly has to do with the fact that fans always felt Orton’s career was a lot of unfulfilled potential. The view is that regardless of how he was pushed, he never felt like the kind of star WWE tried to portray him as.
The only thing that can really get fans to appreciate his career as a whole is when he eventually retires. He’s a WWE-lifer and will obviously go down as one of the all-time greats. It’s just going to take fans some more time to accept that.
