There are certain superstars who get treated and presented very differently and that clearly separates them from the rest. Though he’s only a few months into his run on the main roster, that’s exactly the kind of treatment Ricochet has been getting. It’s no secret that Ricochet is very popular among the WWE Universe, quickly establishing a fanbase even among casuals who have never seen him prior.
He’s an extremely marketable star as well and it was cool to see him get a huge ovation backstage. However, what really established the fact that he was getting a big push is that AJ Styles was teased as his first rivalry. When you’re put up against AJ Styles, you know WWE has big plans for you.
