#4.) WWE has big plans for Ricochet
When a superstar is treated a certain way, it’s very evident that WWE has big plans for them. That applied to Ricochet on the night of WWE Stomping Grounds, as he defeated Samoa Joe to capture his first-ever main roster championship. It was even treated as a big deal backstage, with The One and Only superstar receiving an ovation at gorilla position from stars such as Seth Rollins, Heavy Machinery, Charlotte Flair, etc.
He even had the “NXT dad” moment with Triple H, who embraced him backstage. The very fact that his first rivalry looks to be AJ Styles says a lot in itself. It clearly means WWE has big plans for him and the US title is simply a stepping stone.
