Kofi Kingston is fully expected to walk out of Stomping Grounds still the WWE Champion. Dolph Ziggler has naturally been a filler feud, but fans were surprised when rumors emerged that Shane McMahon is being primed for a WWE Championship run. Hopefully, these rumors aren’t true, but knowing WWE and how they’re pushing Shane McMahon now, it’s a very real possibility that they want him to be a transitional WWE Champion to get Roman Reigns over again.
It would be a big shock to see Shane McMahon enter the WWE Championship picture, but it’s something that can still be reluctantly expected.
