If there are any two words that can describe Bayley’s night at Money in the Bank, it’s career rejuvenation. It’s crazy to think that after two years of damage that was done to Bayley, she was fixed in all but one night. Sure, the build she’s had on SmackDown has certainly helped her, but nobody would have thought that she would instantly become SmackDown Live’s top female babyface.
With Charlotte Flair as the nine-time Women’s champion to beat, Bayley capitalized on the moment and became only the fourth person to cash in the MITB briefcase on the same night of winning it. It’s going to be interesting to see how WWE deals with Bayley as the new top face of the blue brand SmackDown Live.
