#3.) Kofi Kingston
The night proved to be Kofi Kingston’s first major test as WWE Champion. Sure, he has had three defenses on television, but this was his first PPV title defense. It was an important hurdle for him and he had to work with an incredible opponent in Kevin Owens. While the crowd wasn’t as hot due to the Universal title match, Kingston and Owens did a great job in putting on a clinic and further strengthening the PPV in itself.
It was a match that could have main evented a PPV on any given day and even if they are to run the program further between Owens and Kingston, you’re not going to find many people complaining about it.
