#2.) The quick demise of brand-exclusive PPVs
In the first rendition of the brand split, brand-exclusive PPVs were a thing for quite a few years before they decided to end it and make all PPVs dual-branded. It furthered the importance of the Big 4 PPVs, because they were the only times where we would see superstars of both brands on the same show.
The same thing happened for a while in the second edition, but it lasted just around one and a half years before they decided to make all PPVs dual-branded. It was a shame because the brand-exclusive PPVs saw a lot more superstars get opportunities. The only issue was that having two PPVs in a month felt like overkill.
