5 Indications That WWE’s Brand Split Could End Soon

#4.) The newly implemented “Wildcard” rule

On the May 7th episode of RAW, Vince McMahon revealed the concept of the “Wildcard” rule, where four superstars from a brand will be allowed to appear on the opposing brand’s show. It started off on RAW when Roman Reigns, Kofi Kingston and Daniel Bryan appeared. McMcMahon initially announced it as three superstars, but Lars Sullivan intimidating him backstage led him to change that number to four.

Either way, it’s funny because it was broken on the first night, with a total of five SmackDown superstars (not including Shane McMahon) appeared on RAW. There’s a very big possibility that this is only the start of many superstars freely pouring over from brand to brand.
