#3.) A more versatile in-ring worker
For years, Dean Ambrose was accused of being a “lazy” worker and not putting everything he had into his in-ring style. The main criticism was because he wasn’t as fast-paced or versatile in the ring like superstars such as Seth Rollins, AJ Styles, etc. However, the reality of the situation is that while he wasn’t as versatile, the style he used was for a very good reason.
It was the safe WWE style of wrestling that he was taught to use for years and it was this style that allowed him to wrestle continuously for years without suffering any major injuries (up until late 2017). Now that he’s gone from WWE, there’s a very high chance that we’ll get to see a more versatile and diverse moveset from Jon Moxley. It would also suit well to the independents, where fast-paced wrestling is what sells more tickets.
