#2.) Pete Dunne‘s historic reign comes to an end
Pete Dunne’s incredible 685-day United Kingdom Championship reign always felt under threat against WALTER and his nightmares may have come true as the Ring General dethroned him in what was a technical classic. It was a masterpiece of a match, as they took their time to build it up.
While not as quick as other matches on the card, the two worked extremely well together, with Dunne being a clear underdog despite being such a dominant champion. Ultimately, WALTER proved to be worthy of dethroning Dunne and we finally see a new era for NXT: UK.
