5 Things You Need To Know About The WWE Hall Of Fame

The WWE Hall of Fame has been a staple of the company since 1993. There were about six years between 1997 and 2003 where WWE shut the Hall of Fame, and though it’s not exactly known why, it’s believed that a portion of that time was so that Vince McMahon could focus on the Monday Night Wars and WWE at its peak with the Attitude Era.

Even so, the Hall of Fame has evolved, from being just one inductee to regularly inducting around 10 people on an average every year. There have also been specific layers added to the WWE Hall of Fame, such as the Celebrity Wing, a female inductee, a tag team/faction inductee and a headliner along with a couple of others.

It’s evolved its way into being an integral part of WrestleMania week, and on some years, it generally kicks off the festivities. It’s a great tradition that has also now been used to promote WWE’s PR and charitable ventures, such as Connor’s Cure and even The Warrior Award section.

Here are a few things you may not have known about the WWE Hall of Fame.
