#4.) Pete Rose was the first celebrity inductee
Pete Rose’s role in WWE through the years has been nothing short of hilarious. If you’re not aware, he participated in three consecutive WrestleMania’s under different roles, all of which ended with him being tombstoned by Kane. He appeared between WrestleMania 14 and WrestleMania 2000.
He did appear at No Mercy 2002 as well, only to get chokeslammed by Kane. So when the Hall of Fame was brought back in proper fashion in 2004, he was the first-ever celebrity inductee. And as you would have guessed, the person to induct him was none other than Kane himself. Talk about it all coming full circle!
